Daily Soaps

A few minutes glance of my mother-in-law's daily deadly time-pass updated me on few things about it. It has always been moments of mockery to watch a daily soap even for 5 minutes. But do not that day I got to see the twist in them. I realised that the soaps are not for providing a daily dose of entertainment to the house-wives, but actually there to make a cashing opportunity out of them. They simply fool around with their emotions very much the way beggars cash out by exploiting the emotions. They never fail to evoke the emotions of pity and grief in you. No wonder my mom and my mom-in-law weeps when the gullible daughter-in-law in the soap cries. But when will they realise that their own daughter/daughter-in-law also cries and gets depressed at similar situations in real life.
