The Poem I did recently

Just a few days back I was asked to write a poem in a jiffy for one of my clients, who actually wanted it for one of their clients. I as given an hour to do it, but I kind of accomplished penning in just 20 minutes of time. What I came up with is as below. Have a look:

Alas, I missed it Today!
Blamed it on my dismay
Since I had to foray
Into a new Monday

It was a new experience
To be lived at once
For the change to commence
Leaving no time for reminiscence

The very fluid that fuels
For the energy to dwell
Better even to any gruel
Putting my sleep to a quell

It lessens my daily drudge
Even with a mere slug
So wanted badly just a mug
Of my favourite drug

I know I have not mentioned a title for this one. Would be a nice Wondering session if any one could guess what it is on.

ABOUT COMPLICATED RELATONSHIPS OF LOVE AND HATRED…

Truce is what
I wanna call it
The moment our eyes meet
And get back to
Where they were before
My heart skips a beat
And the eyes, they
Linger for more of you
No matter how hard
I try to get close, but
You draw the wall
I realized it was invisible
When it slammed me hard
Breath goes out of me
When I know you can’t
be mine, the wish I have
but can’t even curse you
cause you also know
way I love you a lot.

Throwing Colours

As the days go by
I am left with more to come.
At times it comes in the form of grief
many a times in a sense of relief
of being the one that I was never meant to be
or at times failing to be
that what I was supposed to be.
Further back I can only see
long trails that it seems to me
have to be of my lingering steps;
Yes, they do form a picture
One that I am proud of
It is the colors right now
That I am playing with
to throw back on the trails
For this day of my birth
When it comes knocking again
I do have another shade to marvel
