Without doubt the biggest reality show on Indian television is definitely the Big Boss. Currently it is in its 7 season, therefore, the content, which includes viz. the glamour, excitement, fun, sleaze, excitement, endorsement, entertainment and controversies are also in the same multiples.

An important thing to note is that none of this is possible without the celebrity guests of the show who pass off as stars in their own rights. Though it is known world over that failed actors and controversial beings who have hogged the media considerably constitute the guest list of this franchise. This format started and is still  included in the original show Big Brother.from where the Indian version aka Bigg Boss mushroomed.

Among this year's guests, each one is unique and capable of giving entertainment to its loyal viewers. Obviously, that is what million of viewers look for each day when the show airs at the prime time from 9 - 10 pm each day.

This concept takes entertainment to a very fair level. That is because whosoever fails in giving the content that is due to the viewers gets effortlessly voted out. The show is simply content driven, if the claims of the show are to be believed anytime, then nothing in the show is scripted, all participants represent their own brand called YOU. Each one is strictly for himself/herself. If this was not true, then people like Elizabeth Avram, better known as Salman's Ellie would have been voted out long long back.

Hats off to the producers of the show who have taken the cue from Indian Dirty Dancing to the complete T. No prizes for guessing it that it is only Entertainment, Entertainment and Entertainment that an average viewer of the show expects from it.

A big myth that the show has broken is that only A listed movie stars who do Crores of  business within the release date of their movies are superior in providing entertainment to small budgeted television stars. Obviously, the content that Mr. Khan provides to the show is way dissapointing than the one that the inmates provide every working day. One can check the TRPs of the show on wikipedia links. The show gets minimum TRP on Sundays.

Oh come on! If these biggies were really capable of providing better entertainment then, despite the obvious behest of the host of the show THE Salman Khan to not to take Kushal Tandon back would not have gone to the deaf ears. Also, the same Mr. Khan optimized all his chances to never miss an opportunity to show his displeasure by snubbing the TV star. He obviously must have realized that he is nothing more than employee to the show, much like the people inside the house; though with a much higher pay package. Rather now he must be getting perturbed seeing some one else snatching his BAD BOY image from him and uplifting it to an another level.

Apart from this, the show loved to break the rules that it itself creates in writing. The terms of the show clearly state in Black and White that no adult material would be supplied to the family audience, no acts of violence will be tolerated, and if any contestant leaves the show on his/her own, then it is considered a violence of contract which attracts a penalty of 50 Lakh. Firstly, allowing the obvious hinsa of Tanisha to Kushal; then the show got back on Kushal when he tried half-hinsa on Andy. So, currently, neither Tanisha, nor the more than good friends duo - Gauhar Khan and Kushal Tandon are dispelled from the show. Rather
the duo are now worshiped by the janta as the real HEROES who held their held high above the big and mighty movie walas of the 90s. Oh..that rhymed too.....

Contestants in the show are different every year, but the dose of entertainment they provide keeps on getting better and hatke each year. If Sigmund Freud was present today, he definitely would have loved to see his theories testing positive each time each year.

Though now only a month is left for this show to end. It is for people like you to make the most of it and sit back and extract all we could till it lasts.

Long live the Bigg Boss!!
