Think of any word. Search it on google images. Write something inspired by the 11th image.

FLABBERGASTED.

I like this writing prompt of the day. It is an interesting one. I closed my eyes for a second to concentrate on a word. I was taken in for a surprise when I came up with this one - FLABBERGASTED.

So, here I post the 11th image in the sequence of my search for the word.

Think of any word. Search it on google images. Write something inspired by the 11th image.
 Flabbergasted

To describe this image, it lives up to the search query I performed. Not only the image depicts the word Flabbergasted to the T, it also has the word as a heading.
Flabbergasted means surprised or amazed. The girl in the picture looks anything but surprised to the core. It could have been that she saw something that frightened her. It also could be that she saw something that she never expected to see in her lifetime.
I am not sure if the girl in the image has her real emotions captured. It could be that she is pretending to be surprised. Whatever the case may be, she does express a visual denotation to the word FLABBERGASTED.
This image was the 11th one in my google image search query for the word FLABBERGASTED. The ones before this image were the images of animals in a surprised state. Most of them included surprised cats and dogs in a meme sarcasm mode.
Before I actually counted the 11th image, I was certain of finding an image of a surprised animal. But I was in fact surprised to find a human image for the word.
Writing of the word Flabbergasted, I am sure in for a one. It is like saying deja vu for the word that is the writing prompt of the day.

Write about a lesson you've learned the hard way

Write about a lesson you've learned the hard way
Write about a lesson you've learned the hard way

I posted a few days ago about teaching a few things to my children, if I have any in future. One of the things that I mention in that post is about self-learning.
I am proud to claim that all that I am today is because of self-learning.
I do not owe anything to anyone for what I am and what I know.
It is all because of learning lessons of my life the hard away.
I must have learnt a lot many things myself. Out of which I am writing the No. 1 learnt lesson here in this post.
Do not fix your happiness goals on anyone else than you.
I have wasted a lot many years of my life fixing my happiness goals on others. Others include family, friends, and people to whom I was close then. All this led to disappointment, grief and depression.
Moreover,  if I recall, this happened to me 4-5 times. One after the other series of bad experiences left a bad taste in my mouth. I felt no truth to human relationships, except for selfishness and deceit. I begin to wonder the basis of having friends and relatives. When all relations are convenience based, then why one should one consider them in their life?
It was more disheartening because I had stood through the bad times of all those people. On the contrary of being some help, they mocked and turned cold towards me.
Now I am happy to admit that I no more let anyone make me unhappy. I live my life the way I wish to, without giving a damn.

A letter to someone, anyone

A letter to someone, anyone
A letter to someone, anyone

I do not believe in your existence. That is why I am in a state of surprise on communicating with you. Though you exist, the way your staunch believers believe you to. So, I write to you!
This had to be my a letter to someone, anyone, and I chose you.
Everyone close to me knows for a fact that my feelings for you are full of detest. I find you nothing but an arrogant dictator.
I do not understand why everyone hogs to please you. May be all those who do are the ones like you only. They desire to be idolised, considered one above the all. Why I ask?
You are not even the one to be respected I feel. For what should I even consider you as someone of importance?
Is it because you are egoistic and we immortals have no choice but to succumb to your whims and fancies.
Is it because you create hurdles for those who do not bow down to you?
Is it because you take sadist pleasure in giving grief to ones who does not believe in you?
Is it because you want everyone to be reminded of the fact that everything on the Earth is your creation?
Is it because all things living/non-living are a part of your personal play-station?

Grow up and be what people expect you to be?

Stop rapes of poor. Stop rapes of infants. Stop rapes!
End the wars that will end the World.
Make food available for all.
Let there be justice, at least somewhere.
Let there be peace!
Make yourself you that is expected of you by the millions on this Earth.
I am waiting to be proved wrong. At least take my challenge and stay GOOD if you cant be true to your name!

Put your music on shuffle and post the first ten songs

Put your music on shuffle and post the first ten songs
Put your music on shuffle and post the first ten songs

I do not know why this writing prompt activity is getting erratic with each passing day. Just a few days back I wrote a post on my favourite songs. Back then I thought I was done with this song listing posts. But little did I know, that more on song listing is yet to come.

The writing prompt for this post is exactly that. Moreover, it asks me to shuffle my list of songs before I post about them.

So, here is the list of songs after I shuffle my playlist.

  1. Mahi Aja - Singh is Bling
  2. Chul - by some Punjabi artist
  3. Your Chin - by some Indian artist
  4. Ordinary Love - U2
  5. Sharabi from Pyar Ka Punchnama2
  6. Manali Trance  from Shaukeens
  7. Aaj Kain De - Falak Shabir
  8. Yaaram from Ek Thi Daayan
  9. Animals - Maroon 5
  10. Siftaan - Yo Yo Honey Singh
I am done.....

What 3 lessons do you want your children to learn from you ?

What 3 lessons do you want your children to learn from you ?

I expressed few facts about myself few days back. They did intrigue a few bloggers. Though one of the facts made someone to question me about it.
It was about not becoming a mother anytime in my life. Time and again I keep repeating this. I do not wish to have children of my own. Though I do not mind petting cute kids of others, but I cannot envision having my own.
So, in this scenario, if I get a daily writing prompt like this, I chuckle.
So, here I go again with my today's writing prompt.

What 3 lessons do you want your children to learn from you ?

1.     I will teach them to love and respect their individuality
This is one advice I give everyone. How can one expect love and respected from others when you yourself do otherwise. At the end of the day every individual has to respect their own integrity.
2.     Do not expect to get education from schools
I am someone who detests the system of education. I find them more of a money making institution than the one parting education. If I have kids, I will not ruin their capabilities by sending them to school.
Rather, I would teach them to emphasize on finding their inner passion. Then I would help them to steer them to develop a skill set in and around their passion.
3.     Do not let anyone ruin your happiness
As mortal beings, we human beings are not worth much. Moreover, none of us know what might happen the next moment.
To put it simple, there is not much time in hand. Life is way shorter and unpredictable than we expect it to be.
Thus, I would not want my precious child/children to waste time being unhappy for any reason. I would teach them to be happy. They should never depend on anyone else to make them happy, not even me, their mother.

What 3 lessons do you want your children to learn from you ?

Post about 3 celebrity crushes

Post about 3 celebrity crushes
Post about 3 celebrity crushes

Enough is enough. I feel frustrated writing about these topics. What could be worse than to write about myself, or my first love.
Even worse is this prompt - Post about 3 celebrity crushes.
I have had celebrity crushes, but to post about them is a difficult task.
First things first, I have to remember which celebrity I had a crush on!
OK, so with a little focus, I am done with my list of 3 celebrity crushes.
Read further to know them.
1.     Tiger Shroff
This should not put you down. Just look at him, he is so cute to look at. There is also more to him apart from good looks. He dances like a dream and does all the stunts himself.
Most of the people I know are uncomfortable with the fact that he is Jackie Shroff's son. For all those who feel so, appreciate his well-toned torso.
2.     Bradley Cooper

This should make everyone happy. It is unlikely for anyone to not like him. The man looks so sexy. The best thing about him is his personality.
He looks like a sea breeze. Soothing and fresh. Whenever I see him in his white shirts and khaki trousers, my heart goes hmmmm.
All through the Hangover series, my eyes stay glued on this hunk.
Wish there are a lot of such good looking celebrities like Bradley Cooper.
3.      Daniel Craig

I want to know who would not like this gorgeous face with pair of blue eyes. His sense of humor with suave looks is a gorgeous combination.
It is hard to believe that he has a daughter in her 20s! Must say that some people are immune to growing old.
I have been desperate to wait for his latest Bond flick. I can never have enough of his good looks. His persona is crushing indeed.
This was my short list on 3 celebrity crushes. I would like you to Post about 3 celebrity crushes.

Discuss your first love

Discuss your first love
Discuss your first love

To be honest, I have had it all from this writing prompt service. I wish I knew what is coming with each passing day.
The last prompt was a difficult one. But now with this one, it has become the second most difficult one.
Somehow I managed to write 30 facts about myself in last post. But this prompt asks me to discuss my first love. This is not fair. Why a writing activity has to be intrusive. It feels as if some neighbour is peeping into my house. Or if the Google is sifting through all my search activities.
Now since I have survived more than half of the writing prompts, I do not wish to give up. Leaving now at this stage does not make sense.
So, here I am writing for the prompt of the day - Discuss your first love.
I recall it was some 20 odd years back. Back then I classified it as my first love. Though today I find the term crush a more appropriate one for it. The reason is that it is not exactly love, so a crush. The phenomenon of crush enjoys being termed as love in most of the cases. Hence, for this post and for my life, I term that crush as love itself.
Though I do not want to call it my first crush. It is because I am sure there were many crushes before that one. But being honest again, I do not remember them. I only reminiscence the one I am discussing here.
He was about 6 years older to me. I liked him because he was fun, easy to hang-out with and was good looking. To me he was the Greek God back then. Since he was more mature than me, he knew that I had hots for him. Luckily, he did not take an advantage of that situation.
It was a brief period of less than a year when we both were friends. After that he left the place for his higher studies.
I again got in touch with him a few years back through Facebook. It is of interest to note that it was him who sent a friend request. He even tried meeting me when we visited my city.
But to disclose the truth, I am not interested in meeting him.
I have spoken to him over the phone a few times. Though whenever he communicated his desire to meet in person, I was polite in declining it.
I do not wish to meet him ever. Nor do I want him to read this post.

Post 30 facts about yourself

Post 30 facts about yourself
Post 30 facts about yourself

I am an introvert person. I refrain to talk about myself. There is something to talking about myself that makes me uncomfortable.
So I went disappointed with the writing prompt of the day. I mean how am I supposed to write 30 facts about myself.
I am comfortable doing this activity in my personal diary. Doing this here, where everyone can have a look at it is embarrassing for me.
I cannot help it, now I have to, so here it goes:

  11. I have an hyper allergic and hypersensitive skin.
  12. I read one book a month.
  13. I am short-tempered and a sensitive person.
  14. I am an atheist.
  15. I love cats.
  16. Twice I had a tortoise as a pet.
  17. I once did a train journey of 7 hours without a valid ticket.
  18. I trekked from Castle Rock to Dudhsagar, a journey of 24 kms in 8 hours.
  19. I wish to be the speech writer for the president of United States.
  20. I will never have my own kids.
  21. I do not like children of human beings.

Post about your zodiac sign, and whether or not it fits you

This writing prompt is a difficult one to write about. This is because I am not a person who believes in zodiac signs.
I admit that I did fancy star signs when I was younger. I was regular about reading the weekly zodiac predictions in the glossy newspaper columns.
In fact I did continue the habit till my first year of job. Now I do not even recall when did that habit cease. It may be that I matured in life that caused my disbelief in the zodiac signs. Or it could be something else that I have no idea about.
That is the reason I am clueless on writing for this prompt right now.
As far as my memory goes, Cancer zodiac sign denotes emotional people. They are hard on the exterior, though mushy from the inside. That is much like the crabs, which are the logo to this sign.
I am thinking if that is the reason why I love crabs so much. I had one tandoori crab just a few days back. Also, on this blog I mentioned how I had the costliest dish of my life time. Not to wonder, it was a crab only.
Now coming back to my zodiac sign, I think it fits me. I have not searched anything about it, still I know it fits me well.
I am a sensitive and caring person. I am creative and linked towards all things art. I suffer from bronchial and skin sensitivity issues. I maintain a strong unapproachable demeanor, but those who are close to me know that it is not all the time.
People who know me through my writing, know my creative hobbies well. So, it is safe to claim that my zodiac sign Cancer fits me well.
Though this was all that I know about the particular zodiac sign Cancer. I would love to know what more is there to it. Whether those other peculiarities related to this are common to me or not.

Also, I would like you to post about your zodiac sign, and whether or not it fits you
